Wireless
Mouse
Just like
Wireless Keyboard, you can find many Wireless Mouse with striking
and new features. Since this mouse, Wireless Mouse is wireless,
you’ll enjoy the freedom to use it practically anywhere. Not only
does the optical tracking engine allow it to work well on most
surfaces, but the fact that it’s wireless means you can use it in
your left hand or your right, on your pants leg, keyboard tray — or
from across your office. There’s no cable to clutter your desk and
tether you to your computer when using Wireless
Mouse.
The Wireless
Mouse has a single button that makes it easy and comfortable to use,
regardless of the size of your hand. Whether you have a light touch
or a heavy hand, the thoughtful click-force adjustment feature makes
it more customizable. And the optical engine provides accurate and
responsive cursor movement unhampered by performance-inhibiting dirt
and dust buildup.
There are many
companies manufacturing Wireless Mouse and one such legend company
is Apple. Apple has made setting up Bluetooth devices as simple as
turning them on and clicking through an intuitive setup assistant.
The Wireless Mouse and keyboard are no exception: The new combined
Keyboard and Mouse system preference panel includes a Bluetooth tab
that lets you set up your new Wireless Mouse and keyboard in a
snap.
Like using a
mouse with your PowerBook? The new Wireless Mouse is perfect for
you, especially when you take your laptop on trips. The Wireless
Mouse has been designed with an off-switch that lets you save
battery power when you travel. And you only need to put the Wireless
Mouse in the on position to reestablish its wireless link with your
Mac.
We are
discussing the top-of-the-line model, Creative Optical. It's similar
to the previous solution but belongs to a different class due to the
radio PC connection. The Wireless Mouse is packed in a bigger box
compared to the previous solution. The box contains a receiver (very
compact) with the USB interface (no adapters provided), the mouse,
two AA batteries, a brief instruction and a warranty card for a long
period. There is no software because under any OS supporting USB
peripherals three-button mice don't need additional programs to be
installed.
The mouse is
only a little bigger than the wireless Creative Lite and much
smaller than any wireless "rodent" (even Cherry M-3000 included into
CyBo@rd Plus is bulkier). Wireless Mouse grow so big because of the
batteries. Optomechanical mice utilize two AAA batteries placed
across the mouse's body. The battery compartment is located in the
lower section of the mouse as the upper one is too narrow. It makes
the mouse larger. Optical mice use bigger AA batteries. The battery
compartment gets bigger, and it's irrational to place batteries
across. Developers, thus, have to place them along the mouse and
shift the optical sensor. Hence the massive size and unusual
behavior of Wireless Mouse. But in the Creative Optical the sensor
is located right in the center. The engineers put the batteries in
the upper section of the mouse where they do not disturb any vital
components. If we remove the upper cover we will see two seats for
two AA batteries. The solution is interesting and allows for a
compact wireless mouse. However, the mouse is still
heavy.
