Wireless
TV
In today’s
technology we have a Wireless TV. There are so many companies who
are providing Wireless TV. And Sony is one of them. Sony is showing
off a host of new technologies recently at the Consumer Electronics
Show, including a touch-screen display that will let users
wirelessly access video content around their homes, and a music
download service.
The 12-inch
portable Wireless TV display will be released later this year and is
partly designed to boost Sony's brand image in a market that has
seen the entry of many new companies in the last few years. That
image, despite new competition, still holds sway over
U.S. consumers, says Hideki Komiyama, the
president and chief executive officer of Sony
Electronics.
Consumers will
be able to take the Wireless TV display to any location in their
homes within range of a wireless access point or digital media
adapter, and watch movies or television, says Tim Baxter, senior
vice president of marketing for the home entertainment products
division. A smaller device to be released alongside the 12-inch
display can also be used in conjunction with any wired or wireless
broadband connection to access home media libraries while on the
road, Baxter adds.
Infrared
Wireless TV headsets: TV EARS are Wireless TV headphones which
provide the ultimate in television clarity. They have a built-in
voice enhancer that enables you to hear and understand every word --
without disturbing others! This system is perfect for persons with
significant hearing loss -- mild/moderate to severe. It's the
clarity, not the volume! Many people with hearing loss complain, “I
can hear the words. I just can't understand them.” They turn up the
volume but still miss a lot.
But with these
Wireless TV headphones, people find they can now hear and understand
every word on their television. A small transmitter converts the
TV's sound into invisible infrared light (like your TV's remote) and
fills the room with it. The Wireless TV headset turns the light back
into clear sound and feeds it directly into your ears. The Wireless
TV headset is totally wireless so there are no cords connecting you
to the TV. You are free to roam around the room while receiving
crisp, clear sound. The comfortable, lightweight, under-the-chin
headset comes with a rechargeable battery. The transmitter can
charge up to two headsets at one time. It takes just three hours to
fully charge one or both headsets, and each charge lasts up to eight
hours.
