Wireless
Weather Stations
The main topics
of conversation in the Midwest may include the local football team or how
the crops are doing. Undoubtedly, though the conversation always
leads to the weather. Most of us take the weather for granted and
don’t give it a second thought. But, in states like
Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas, weather is spelled with a capital “W” and
is closely monitored by both individuals and the media. Weather is
thunderstorms, tropical depressions, tornados, blizzards, squall
lines, stationary fronts, cold fronts from Canadian, warm moist Gulf
air, and hurricanes. The onset of any one of these events can be
detected by monitoring a few basic
conditions.
When you check
the weather on the television or the radio, it’s always what
conditions are like at the airport or some other remote location.
But, what are conditions like in my backyard? To address this, we
generally embarked on the design of the Wireless Weather Stations.
Basically there are two concerns, the first is the development of
low-cost, solid state humidity sensors and the second is the
availability of small, monolithic RF transceivers, while designing
(or even discussing) Wireless Weather Stations.
With the
Wireless Weather Stations, you can keep track of important climate
statistics anytime, anywhere. Three remote sensors track an array of
information: Indoor/outdoor temperature, humidity, barometric
pressure, dew point, and wind speed and chill.
Indoor/outdoor
Wireless Weather Stations with remote sensor monitors indoor
temperature and up to 3 remote locations by using additional
sensors. Weather forecaster and barometric trend indicators predict
upcoming changes. The storm alert feature indicates potential severe
weather conditions. High/low temperature alerts can be programmed,
and the memory feature saves minimum and maximum temperatures
reached. The 10-foot detachable waterproof probe on the sensor can
be used in ponds, pools or aquariums.

Exquisite
sun/moon Wireless Weather Stations let you know indoor temperature
and humidity, moonrise/set, sunrise/set and the minimum and maximum
outdoor temperature record. Wireless Weather Stations also have 45
US location settings, display of weather
tendencies and also has a time alarm function with adjustable snooze
time. Wireless Weather Stations come with a temperature transmitter
and the transmitter and station take two AA batteries, not
included.
Sophisticated
Wireless Weather Stations give the indoor and remote temperature and
humidity, current moon phase and radio controlled time and date.
Wireless Weather Stations come with a thermo-hygro transmitter.
Transmitter and weather station both take two AA batteries.
